Margie

Margie is a bookseller and helps plan and coordinate the events for The Bookstore. She writes most of the content for the newsletter and the blog and is on the Bookstore's team for the Annual Downtown Glen Ellyn Bookfest. She used to be a litigation attorney in Chicago, but now she would really rather hang out at The Bookstore chatting with fellow book lovers. She especially enjoys literary fiction, and with an undergraduate degree in history, she also likes historical fiction and historical nonfiction. In her spare time, she takes oil painting and writing classes, and loves to visit literary sites and other indie bookstores when she travels. (She is pictured here at Shakespeare & Co. in Paris.) She wrote an essay entitled Life On a Wisconsin Lake that is published in The Great Lakes Reader: Essays on The States That Make The Great Lakes Great, Edited by Carl Lennertz. She can be found on Twitter as @justbooks and can be contacted at justthebookstore@gmail.com.
