Margaret Ann Philbrick
Margaret Ann Phillbrick is a local author and gardener. Ranunculus is her favorite flower and T.S. Eliot and Gerard Manley Hopkins are her favorite poets.
Her first novel A Minor: A Novel of Love, Music & Memory debuted in 2014.
She also wrote a Christmas picture book Back to the Manger: A Treasure Hunt for the Nativity, the true story of the creche at The Little Traveler retail store in Geneva, Illinois. Margaret's mother, Sara McGreevy, a longtime member of the DuPage Art League, painted the illustrations. The book details the journey of this memorable Nativity from its unknown European origins to its resting place at the Geneva History Center.
